Just cold enough so your ears hurt? Not cold enough for a facemask? This is the perfect solution."Gore Wind Stop" in the front to keep the wind out and wool in the back to cover your ears.
Dylan and Scott have both been using the craft hat during the recent cold days
and absolutly love it. "It's perfect for anything between 30F-55F".
Have you been riding in the dark? Do you have good light? If not this is about as ideal a light as you can get. The LED bulb means a longer lasting battery and a brighter light.
Colin, Andrew, Craig, Mike, Scott and Dylan all have one.
No it's not out yet, but we've ridden it a few times... And we like it a lot. Lighter, lighter and did we say lighter? More adjustable than Force or Rival. The brake levers also have very nice ergonomics.
Scott has been riding Force for over a year and loves it, so he'll be the first to upgrade to Red. Colin and Dylan will likely use it on their new superlight bikes.
With all the new carbon cranks on the market one sticks out of the pack, the Zipp VumaQuad. It's incredible light at 570g (the normal Dura-Ace is 750g) and it's stiff. When you combine the two you should have a winner.
Colin will have one on his bike in 2008 so will find out if it holds up to all the hype.
No other bike is as versatile as a cross bike, you can ride it in bad weather without feeling bad, you can race cross on it, you can ride it off road or you can put your road wheels on and take a 75mile ride. And the Seven Mudhoney is probably one of the nicest riding cross bikes you can get, and it's sure to hold up for years to come because of the titanium construction.
Dylan and Andrew are liquidating bikes and parts to make room for one.
Light, stiff and comfy are not three words you normally hear together describing a bike, but the R3/R3-SL is no normal bike it's one of the nicest riding carbon bikes you can get and at 850g(SL) for the frame it's one of the lightest.
Craig has an R3 and R3-SL, Scott and Andrew have R3's and Colin and Dylan will be getting R3-SL's in 2008.
