Its been very busy here at Cronometro the last few weeks. I have been a little late on getting our July ride information out.
We will be riding on Sunday July 27th 9:00 A.M. Meeting at the parking lot of Brigham Park.

This is pretty exciting stuff! 2.145 grams for Chorus, 2.015 grams for Record and 1.964 for Super Record. Prices haven’t been released yet. Chorus, Record and Super Record will all be 11speed for 2009.
With the current weather and the outlook of weather to come The ride today at Cross Plains has been CANCELED! I hope we have better luck in July.

Time is quickly moving along, and it’s not waiting for me. Sorry for the late and infrequent updates.

Craig took the new Seven V-II out for a nice test ride.
“I had a great ride with the Seven V-II today. It really is a special bike at speed. It makes me search for downhills; climbing was no problem either.”
Each day more information on the new Shimano 7900 Dura-Ace pops up.
More teams are getting it on their bikes at the Giro. And when more teams use it, more pictures show up.
Here are a few more.
Shimano is refining its latest version of Dura-ace, changing to carbon levers and a new pewter color.
Word on the street is the press blackout will be lifted June 1st, and all the Shimano teams will be riding the new Dura-ace in this year’s Tour. (Like we didn’t know that already.)
The big surprise that Shimano is keeping under wraps is the 7900 Crankset. Lighter and stiffer then their current and still unavailable Carbon crank.
Once that is seen the group will be complete.
Estimated weight for the complete group is to be under 2000 grams. 1995gm is the number I have heard.
